Broadband activation

My broadband was meant to go live at midnight last, my talktalk was disconnected yesterday morning. I run a business from my home and need to be able to speak with them but am unable as I have no wifi. Is there anything I can do?

Re: Broadband activation

@ljsevenn96 Welcome to the forums. Assuming you have a Hub2, what colour is the light?

Re: Broadband activation

Have you tried rebooting the Hub? Hold a paper clip or similar in the reset hole for ~30 seconds or until the light goes green, release and wait five minutes or so for the Hub to reset.

Re: Broadband activation

OK. You are obviously connected, but I wonder if the 'username/password is correct? What is showing on your screen if you navigate to this page on your Hub?

Re: Broadband activation

OK. Sorry for the late reply. I find that strange as you have a solid? orange light - not flashing? - which would indicate the connection from the OR network to your Hub  is complete.

Re: Broadband activation

Check you router lights

Your router lights can tell you a great deal about what is happening when things are not as they should be. The colour of the lights and their state will tell you all you need to know ... if only you could find the help sheet which came with the router. That information can also be found in the depths of the on-line help & support guides. The following links make the material easier to find.
