hi everyone
so i decided to buy the fibre broadband plan and it should be near 25 pounds per month, but when i am ordering it, i have to pay 50 pounds for booking an engineer. Can i not book an engineer and recieve the router only? Because if the engineer only come up and plug the router into the sockets thats totally not worth it. So how can i purchase the plan with only recieving a router?

The connection fee is not for an engineer to come and plug the router in, it will be because you do not have a working phone line and work will be needed at the exchange to connect your property.
It may be the last provider was not via the BTW network, but an LLU such as Sky or Talk Talk.
