Hi, I've changed internet providers from sky to plusnet and today (4th April) is the day I am to switch over. Sky internet has now stopped and I am now without internet, (I thought the switch was seamless) so I am home with two kids during Easter break with no internet.

Assuming things are going to plan, it can be up to 23.59 before your account goes live. Note than an engineer almost certainly has to move you conenction from Sky equipment onto OpenReach.
