Re: New customer how to keep original landline number

If you are transferring to Plusnet from another Openreach based provider, ie not Virgin Media or someone who uses the CityFibre network for example, then do NOT contact your old, (existing), provider - that will  mess up the transfer. The only contact now with your "old" provider should be their final bill.

Best to 'phone Plusnet to enquire about transferring your landline number.

Re: New customer how to keep original landline number

Hi there,

I'm really sorry we've worried you here. I can see you've spoken with one of my colleagues and we're replacing your order to retain your landline number when switching your service across to us.

Let me know if you have further issues or there's anything else you'd need help with.

From 31st October 2022, I no longer have a regular presence here as I’ve moved on to a new role.

I phoned customer services had to cancel the move to plusnet then rejoin again,

It looks like when joining plus net on the web there is a small tick box where you tick to keep your old number?
