Silver key address on Openreach database

I’ve recently requested to move provider from BT to Plusnet and have signed up and paid my initial fee. However I have now been told that I have a silver key address on the Openreach database and would need a new phone line installed. I suspect this is because I changed my house name shortly after I moved in about 17 years ago and the Openreach database has not been updated. I believe I now need Plusnet to raise an ORDI request with Openreach as soon as possible to have this corrected. The address on my Plusnet account is my “new” address which matches the Royal Mail database. The Openreach database must still have my “old” address. I certainly don’t need a new phone line installed as BT has been my ISP for at least 12 years. Am I correct in my assumptions above?

I believe that ORDI requests are the province of the existing provider - see ORDI Request - BT Community

Re: Silver key address on Openreach database

I believe Plusnet are now on the case and have raised an ORDI.
