"Fibre" package speeds appear capped?

Just moved back to Plusnet & onto a new "Fibre (without phone line)" package activated this morning.
Rummaging about the new hub2 I see my download speed appears capped at 39.999 Mbps yet the line's max 57.2 Mbps...
"Data rate:8.857 Mbps / 39.999 Mbps
Maximum data rate:8.446 Mbps / 57.209 Mbps
Noise margin:6.1 / 12.4
Line attenuation:14.3 / 24.4
Signal attenuation:12.6 / 35.5"
From reading the blurb on the Fibre package I was not expecting this cap?
From a quick read on here I've seen mentions of a "10/40” profile which appeared to have been erroneously applied & subsequently corrected by Plusnet/OR.
Could anyone advise on this please?.
Thanks

@Opal where the line has a Minimum Guaranteed speed of near 40Mb, PLusnet will sometimes provision the line on 40/10. If you wish it to be provisoned on 80/20 instead, I'm sure one of the staff will be along shortly and advise.

@MisterW Looking (quickly) at those figures, strikes me: 'DS SNR = 12.4 , Line attn = 24.4, signal attn = 35.5' all quite high, so 40/10 may be a tad more stable than 80/20?

@jab1 very likely, but there's still quite a lot of headroom on the downstream SNR so uncapping will give a reasonable increase in speed at the expense of some stability perhaps...

Hey @Opal and @MisterW,
Taking a look into this on WBAC I can see Openreach advise that line should be able to handle up to 55.78 but I think due to it being closer to our 40/10 package it looks like that was only offered as it could cause DCN issues however I have placed the modify order to 80/20 this should be completed within 2-3 working days.
@Opal if this change causes DCN please update this thread and we can revert it back.

I'll monitor & see how it behaves.
(This second attempt at replying as it just fell over... )
Edit back up now & DL is 55.5 Mbps 👍🏻🤞🏼🤞🏼
