Deco x55 set up

I have Unlimited Fibre extra with  the Plusnet hub 2 router and am thinking of getting a Deco x55 mesh system to extend my coverage. Will i need to make any adjustments to my Hub settings in order to do this?.

@Yorkshirepud you have two options:-

1) Leave the Hub as is apart from disabling its wifi. Connect the x55 in Access point mode https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/1842/

2) Switch the Hub 2 to 'bridge mode'. Configure the x55 in router mode for PPPoE with your plusnet username/password.

Depends whether you wish to use the facilities of the x55 that are only available in router mode https://www.tp-link.com/uk/support/faq/2399/
