So following some tips in a previous thread I managed to get my zenwifi router configured and working. I was just about to go to bed when the connection dropped. Hooked up the PN supplied router and initially that was not able to establish a connection either. Then suddenly about an hour after I'd given up the PN router decided to start working.
Anyone got any ideas? I'm new to FTTP, is there something in missing in the technology that could cause this kind of behaviour? I really don't want to have to use Plusnets router if I can avoid it.

@WookieBill its nothing to do with using your own router. I've used my own router for nearly 4 yrs now on FTTP!.
Did the ONT lights change at all ?
