I've not had the update, do keep getting the DNS dropouts and do use VPN.
Replying here because this is exactly what my router event log looks like too (new customer).
@bobpullen, as the sole distributor of the potentially better firmware I need to ask you to do mine too. Sorry!

@floppydisk @MaiB The router event log extract shows nothing about Wi-Fi issues, it is just the firewall blocking unwanted connections.

Of course. However, if you google "BLOCKED 2 more packets (because of ICMP replay)" most of the ghits are about BT/Plusnet dropping connections => There may be some relevance.

And just by the by, an interesting "coincidence" that when I have logged the times of dropouts [currently and before the update] I always find similar events recorded on the Event Log.

I too would like to request a router firmware upgrade as I'm having the same 5GHz non connectivity issues that have been reported despite segregating it via another SSID and un-syncing from 2.4GHz.

I appreciate you must be super busy with all the requests on here as well as other work but is there an ETA on the firmware upgrade? I noticed the last person to successfully have the upgrade was roughly 2 weeks after they posted.
