@jagey you should not have any problems with Acrobits Groundwire setup. That is the one I use. I did however go for the 'premium' paid for version.
Was a member for years, but moved from PN fttc to fttp from an AltNet. Getting 940Mb up and down. Happy to stay on here and try to help others. 

Had a confirmatory email from Jake in Leeds (or Sheffield) - no blood involved, I hope.

I've gone for the paid version of Groundwire.

Let's see…

Re: Migration from FTTC to FTTP - tp-link Deco set up.

Acrobits Groundwire VOIP softphone (app) set up and after four working days notification from A&A the account is running and allows phoning out and receiving calls, so SUCCESS!

The settings for Groundwire are relatively simple and A&A have a fudge sheet on their wiki page. It took me a while to navigate some of the account details with A&A and the various passwords but they have a responsive admin by email which helped and they keep you updated.

Running on iOS 18, iPhone 13 (and an old no-sim spare phone) so should be fine for most people.

Don't see myself making a lot of use of it (legacy contacts mainly) but answers some of the questions raised by the imminent death of copper twisted pairs or whatever!

Easy to recommend…
