New plusnet fibre to premises 145

BT open reach have done their part outside. Engineer visit arranged. I really had issues with all plastic plusnet routers in the past, firm ware issues, no signal etc. Switched to BT smart hub 6 and never had a problem. Can I continue using this or do you recommend the latest plusnet router that is posted out prior to engineers visit. Thanks.

Unless your Smarthub 6 is the FTTP version or labelled Ultrafast it can’t be used with Full Fibre.

The Plusnet Hub 2 uses the same hardware as the BT Smarthub 2, has the same wireless performance and stable firmware. I recommend that you try it.

Thanks for response.
I think i purchased from ebay 2-3 years ago. One of the 4 yellow ethernet ports has a red bar above marked as WAN.
Does this mean it will work with plusnet's FTTP?
