Anyone any idea why my Hub2 would just stop working?
Took a factory reset yesterday to get back online and then two resets today before I got back in. At least I know now what settings I need to change in the router Admin page each time.
The Hub2 is from late 2017.

2017? Hub 2? I didn’t think they were released until much more recently..
If it is the Hub causing the problem then the simple answer is that it’s broken.

Thanks.
My grey matter is not what it used to be. I suspect I did indeed join the FTTP Trial in Dec 2017 but would not have received the Hub2 until I finally changed from a 30 day contract on the Trial to a regular connection and contract.
I am thinking along the lines of the Hub2 is failing - just thought I'd ask in case of any other explanation. A trip to the loft has retrieved the Hub1 (and a Technicolor TG582n) so I should be OK if the Hub2 goes.
Question now is whether to ask for a new Hub2 or join a well known auction site and get a FritzBox 7530.

If looking at FritzBox be aware that there are two models, the old WiFi 5 7530 and the newer WiFi 6 7530AX.

Thanks - I was aware. With my WiFi usage it doesn't really matter which I get (if I get one at all).
I now think it's a software issue. I left the router lights on last time and they showed continuous blue when I lost connection. Couldn't get the Hub2 back up and running this time so switched to the Hub1.
WiFi is fine (it's what I'm using on my Chromebook for this post) but I can't get a wired connection to work. I can get to the Admin page which is how I got back online. But no wired.
The problem now could well be the Raspberry Pi I had connected running Pi-Hole. It's not on the Hub1 but I recall there is a setting (IP address) in either Win7 or FireFox which tells the computer to look at the PI for DNS which I can't find. No Pi, no name server. I think!!!
Hub1 has been factory re-set.
Any suggestions
Brian

Update - I'm back in.
The setting I was looking for is in Properties of the Local Area Connection. Clicked on Properties for Internet Protocal Version (TCP/IPv4) and told it to select DNS servers automatically and not use the one I'd set (the Pi IP address).
Tomorrows job is to go back to the Hub2 and see if it still works. Then think about Pi-Hole.

My Hub2 also just stopped working last week.
I can access the router admin page and the router claims to be connected. However I can't access the internet.
I bought a new one on ebay - this arrived today and it's not working either!
I have done factory reset on both routers and given them at least an hour as sometimes it takes a while to get internet access after a factory reset.
My old Hub1 is working fine thankfully.

Welcome to the Plusnet Community Fora.
The new one will not be associated with your account on the Plusnet Management Platform, so it will not autoconfigure after a factory reset, regardless of whether this is the source of your problem.
You need to unplug the DSL cable, log in to the Hub, go to the advanced settings, change the username to you account username followed by @plusdsl.net and enter your account password. Save, then reinsert the DSL cable.
