I upgraded my package to full fibre on 12th but haven't received my Smarthub 2 yet. How long roughly to expect for the delivery of the new router? Engineer is visiting next week to install the full fibre line so wanted to make sure everything is ready to go for then

Routers are normally shipped to arrive a couple of days before the install date. They are sent Royal Mail 24h tracked , so you you should get an SMS/Email when its dispatched, with the tracking details.
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

The Hub2 should be despatched (via Royal Mail 24hr Tracked) to arrive 1-2 days before the installation date. You should get an email and/or a text when it is despatched, giving you the tracking number.
In the meantime, if it doesn't arrive for some reason, you can continue to use the Hub1.

As you and another user said, I'll keep my fingers crossed it arrives a day or two before the install.
We've had delays with RM in my area recently, so if it for some reason it doesn't arrive in time for the engineer, what are my options? If I let the engineer go ahead with the full fibre install then I'd be without internet and wifi until the Hub2 arrives

@dazpiece As said above, you can use the H1 with FF, it just may not deliver your anticipated speeds, although, IIRC, it should cope with 145.

By default the Hub One expects ADSL or VDSL; so when you connect the WAN port to the ONT it may NOT connect, so it might be necessary to perform a factory reset. Make sure you have a note of your broadband username and password before resetting.
