+1 for automated message in light of the recent outage 11/10/2014

It made a refreshing change to be greeted with the informative message, as opposed to waiting in-line for X - amount of time for a human being
I hope this is the way forward, as it clearly shows that PN are listening to the customers request(s) Smiley

Glad to hear you're liking the automated message (despite the rubbish circumstances for hearing it)
Something we're certainly looking to utilise more and not just in situations such as a service drop.

Update:
Dial 0800 4320 200 & it is there instantly,
As OJ stated option 2 that was earlier

Sadly, the message is currently not on the PN Service Status Line (0800 917 6714,)
Is this also going to be an option to be utilised in the future ?Huh

The service status line was meant to be fully utilised from the 18.09.14.
Obviously this has not happened, as no one at PN can be bothered

Sorry about that folks, I'll take a look into this and see what went wrong with updating this line with the message.

Not a problem TORPC,
After a bit of chasing I've managed to speak to a couple of different people who'll be chasing this up for me tomorrow so I'll post back here as soon as I have something substantial to share on the number. This should certainly now be in use and operational so something hasn't happened along the line. Pretty sure it should be a quick fix regardless of the reason so I would expect it to be functional the next time it's required.  Wink
