Re: A very unhappy long standing customer

Maybe the lose on me but gain on others who on cheaper market.  So everyting levels out in the end.  This is how I think Plus net should do it treat all customers EQUAL not market area this is what I find wrong..
If I sold you a Car you expect to get it the same price I sell to everyone else so why the services from plusnet not the same

Re: A very unhappy long standing customer

your car analogy is incorrect, not everyone pays the same. most large retail companies operate differential pricing depending on market.
to turn it around would you be happy to foot the bill for other peoples subsidised broadband?

Re: A very unhappy long standing customer

Ultimately, every company's product design is their own choice and we have elected to go with the way that we do things.
I'm genuinely sorry that this didn't work in your situation and wish you the very best in the future.

Re: A very unhappy long standing customer

Adding to this it appears customer services don't know what being offered this added sour grapes.
Via twitter was told I can have BB cheaper than what I was offered via ticket bit strange

Quote from: James
BT don't differentiate between markets in their pricing. They will actually lose money by having you as a customer for the first 12 months.
Just providing a broadband service to you will cost us ~£8.50.  That doesn't factor in usage, staff/building costs, etc. That's just to provide a broadband connection with no usage allowance.

Interesting, i assume PN are also losing money for the entire 12 month broadband contract of customers who signed up for the unlimited package at 8.50 a month, when the promotion was on.
