It can't be that hard to impliment and would be of great help to people who frequently go over the usage limit.

so if I used 1GB on day 1 my estimated usage would be 30GB
day 2 I used 10GB my estimated usage would now be 450GB
and likely hood is it's somewhere in between which is really of no benefit.
unless I'm missing something?

Unless you do the same sort of thing day in day out, for the same amount of time, it wont be able to make a 'valid' estimation.
Using something like Consume (for iPhone) will tell you how many GB/s per day you have left until the end of your billing month.... THAT would be more useful to show imo.

I've done this sort of thing regularly since I was on Premire Option 1.
Now I'm on Unlimited I just do it for fun

also you can identify unusual events and make your own guess what is coming. i probably need to consider football fixtures for instance
