It's a good deal so I have no problem agreeing - why do you believe you should be treated differently?

Anyway I have not got the £100 odd quid to pay for line rental up front if i had I would of done that to help cut cost.

@rookey , there is no need to start name calling other users, OFCOM are to blame for different market pricing.
I suggest this thread is locked by a mod , as it now serves no purpose.

people should read and be aware he said why should we be treated differently OF COURSE why should we?? Market 1  V other market if he not of mention that this would of been ok. So he was not aware.
Also like I have some some ISP are treating there customers EVENLY.. ie share the cost accross the market

It has got nothing to do with PN treating their customers differently.
They have made the business decision not to lose money on Market 1 customers. You don't seem to accept this, so your options are join a different ISP or stick with PN.
If you want to argue about your exchange banding, then contact OFCOM or your MP.

I have read this entire post and it strikes that rookie is getting a bit non-plussed (no pun intended lol) at this situation. I am in a market 1 exchange and don't get a cheaper charge. So what!. I have done Tiscali and Talk Talk and they maybe cheap but it comes at a very hgh price indeed. When you phoned up thses ISP's you were put through to India. Now as rookie has clearly stated he is has very impaired hearing. At least when he picks up the phone to moan at PN Towers he is in actual fact speaking to an employee. Whereas should he go to TT he will be spaeking to an outsourced call centre and "barry" from Bombay. Now barry to all intents and purposes may as well be a robot as he has to stick to a very tightly managed script, wth no room for movement. Before rookie starts to think I am being dicriminatroy, I have been down that route with full hearing and am still none the wiser what they intended to do for me.
So my advce to you, Rookie, is if you wnat to leave, do so, but stop with the constant barrage of PN staff and their forum members. You will not find a better monitored forum in any company where the staff take time to answer customers. I think they have given you all the attention you deserve, so if you are not happy to stay move on and good luck to you wherever you go, but just remember..............be careful what you wish for, it may happen and not in the way you would want it.

you have had TWO offers, accept that or go elsewhere - is that so hard to understand?
geez - I feel sorry for anyone in customer service that has to continue trying to deal professionally with you.
