Re: Billing notices

Agreed Be3G, I was writing this whilst you posted....
As previously mentioned feedback received from this thread (although feedback on the issues raised here aren't widespread) will be passed on. We can see that some of you do not seem to be happy about how we do things in terms of billing notifications, these matters are always open for discussion and we are not here to deceive you (we don't get paid enough to do that :))
I would urge anyone unhappy with our current billing system to provide as much constructive feedback as you can. Doing so will help your case as we have not refused to make changes to our billing system, on the other hand I would not want to set an expectation that things will change over night.

Re: Billing notices

Obviously people with a billing problem will shout loudly but, equally, a great many of us have never had a problem - I certainly haven't in my 3 years with Plusnet and my phone has been with them for a couple of years.
If I had to chose between a few extra days DD notice or newer technology I'd chose the latter.
I'd imagine that to change Plusnets accounting/billing platform would involve a lot of time testing that it worked as the odd complaint here would become a tidal wave if it didn't.

Re: Billing notices

I think the comments from the constructive contributors is simple they need more notice of what they are being charged for and sensible notice of when funds will be requested. Nothing major I would suggest just common business practice.

Re: Billing notices

I think that the posting by Artmo hit the nail on the head, when the billing was set up it was purely for BB, I for one had no problem then, but since Home  phone was added and Variable amounts occured, thats when the rubbish started hitting the fan, I had a bad spell of it last year, but thanks to Jameseh  quickly rectified for me each time.  But on several occasions I had to visit the bank and transfer from my deposit to current to stop going overdrawn at the month end without notice from you
My money is taken on the 28th by you and my  regular  money paid in after that, normally I have deliberately less than £10 left in my current, two of my errors were close to £20
As for Giro, his posting are best ignored
