HI sixthprawn,

Re: Curiosity about speeds

Ideally you should be in the test socket, or at the very least the master socket, all the time. Extension sockets are one of the biggest causes of line problems.

Re: Curiosity about speeds

9 days and no replies....
Thanks to those who helped/tried to help, to some others(sad to say it, but "staff") maybe retraining would help as you seem to have forgotten about me(sure i'm not he first). Worst broadband/phone experience i have ever had, have already switched phone supplier and am waiting on my new broadband. Sorry but i won't recommend pn to anyone.

Did you perform any speed tests with everything connected up like that?

Excuse the double post, can someone look at the reasoning behind the bad speeds?

Re: Curiosity about speeds

sixthprawn,
It looks like the account is in failed billing so the speeds will be restricted at the moment. Ticket 42218601 should reveal more details.

Re: Curiosity about speeds

I have made arrangements to pay it tomorrow, made arrangements last week. My speed went to 3mb for a couple of hours before my bill was due so it has nothing to do with that. Sorry to have to say it but i'm looking forward to leaving pn.

Re: Curiosity about speeds

Just so you know we removed the restriction, one was in place but it would seem that you have an issue with speeds to.
The speed issues you're having now do seem to tie in with the disconnections getting worse so I will make sure our faults team look into your issue today.
