As they are not fit for purpose.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Any idea when we MIGHT get a response to all this comment from Plusnet ....

You won't, and shouldn't expect to. No sane CS department of any ISP would post in a thread like this. Not even to say they won't be responding to posts.
It would be pointless from both sides and just lead to shouting from some users and no possible defence from the ISP. That would be worse PR for the/any ISP than ignoring such threads is. Note I repeat and emphasize the any.
The vast majority of Plusnet customers can vote immediately with their wallets if they wish. That's what ISPs take notice of. That's what any supplier of any goods or services takes notice of, and most other things are incidental.
I would be interested to know how many posters in this thread are within a minimum term contract so have to take termination fees into account, and of those how many are on a retention deal.  Actually, no I wouldn't, but suggest each poster considers their own position in that respect. Are they personally affected to a degree where they won't stay once they can leave freely, or do we just have some people ranting?
Anger if affected seriously by the line rental rise, fine. People on LRS aren't affected by it. People on 40/20 have nothing to worry about in respect of it now being a legacy product. Dismay at the indisputable lowering of standards in every aspect of the business, I'm with all of you all the way.

People on LRS aren't affected by it.

And WHY would you claim that?
It effects EVERY PN Home phone user. Just for some it will be later rather than the 2nd Sept.
The TOTAL lack of any feedback from PN just goes to show how low the CS standards have fallen. People who have been LOYAL customers for many years are now looking at leaving, churn is something NO business wants.
This drastic increase in the LRS (what saver now?), just means to me that when mine ends I will be moving at least my phone probably totally to someone else, given the dropping of services recently the poor comms, long wait times on the phone what is there to stay for?

Quite. Exactly my point. You aren't affected by it at the moment. At the end of your term you will be, and can walk if you wish. Or do you think price rises should be illegal?
Just a thought - move just your phone, and your broadband price may rise - depending entirely on what (legacy?) product you are on. Many, such as mine, didn't and don't have different prices dependent on where your line rental is.
Don't forget - my post was primarily about the seeming expectation from several posters that CS should reply. No way will or can they. One of them may do a quick scan now and then to see if anything that hasn't been said before in this or other threads has come up, but the bulk of this thread is people like you and me now wasting time that is irrecoverable.

Ah! That's a point. Is it a monthly contract, or annual?

I don't really think the issue is whether price rises should be illegal. The issue is rising prices and falling service. In that light, I struggle to see the price rises as fair and reasonable.
The other point raised regarding it being better to retain existing customers rather than have new ones - the way PN is going, I think as long as the new customer rate exceeds the churn rate, then PN will see that as acceptable. That is the TT model after all. Lots of customers hating the service and leaving, and just as many (or more) coming in because it is so cheap.
All a bit sad really.

@ jafreer - In what way has the service to you deteriorated?

The service has deteriorated as follows...
1) Horrendous wait times when calling customer service.
2) Peak time slowdowns.
3) PN Staff presence on forum is greatly diminished.
4) Ticket system changes resulting in poorer support.
5) Reduction in telephone support hours.
6) PN errors and Openreach errors making for horrendous installation problems and delays.
Combine all that with rising prices, and I have a problem.

I think it's telling there has been no thread started in 'Announcements' seeing as have done so other years when bringing in price hikes.
