Re: Gandalf / anoush

@rongtw  Now you mention it, yes, he does appear to the mainstay for PN on the forums.

Good old Bob still pops up for some of the more esoteric queries, and I've spotted Adam a couple of times recently, and of course Louisa has been fighting PN's corner re Live Chat etc.

So yes, I'll join you in saying Thanks Gandalf.  Smiley

Re: Gandalf / anoush

+1 from me, sorry guys but he seems one of the most tech savvy and most helpful people PN have, PN should be pulling out all the stops for him and seeing what thay can do to make sure he remains with a them.

Re: Gandalf / anoush

No need to feel concerned about Anoush/Gandalf; while we are freezing our whatsits off, he is on the sunny side of the globe (Aus/NZ) on a well-deserved break from all things CS related.  Bearing in mind his record of helping out on this forum on his days off and annual leave, I wonder if he has been able to resist a sneaky peek at what we, and his colleagues, are up to.

Re: Gandalf / anoush

I hope Anoush/Gandalf is well deserved a holiday whereever he went to. He is one of the best helpful lately on the forum, also other staffs too.

Re: Gandalf / anoush

Well I hope he has a good time.

I went Australia and New Zealand in 2005, stopping over at Singapore on the way there and Hong Kong on the way back and it was the best holiday I'd ever had.

Re: Gandalf / anoush

I believe PN management have locked him out of the forums for the duration of his vacation to ensure he does not get distracted from enjoying himself in NZ.

Well if they did @Townman, then I commend them for doing so.

Plenty of companies would expect you to reply on the forums and carry a company mobile (in addition to your own) whilst away.

Re: Gandalf / anoush

Alex,

Gandalf is "notorious" for being in here at all times of night and day - workday, rest date, weekend, holiday day!  The notice elsewhere that he was off for an extended NZ holiday hinted that he might / should be locked out to prevent him trying to deliver 24x7 support!

@Gandalf is indeed in New Zealand and has taken steps to stop himself visiting these boards until his return. I can imagine its driving him crazy!
