Hmmm strange, hard to tell exactly what has happened without seeing it unfold. The test will accept your first click anywhere on the image as your answer, it's possible that it detected a click as soon as the image loaded making it appear to "skip" the test. But that's just a massive assumption on my part.
I'm sure we'll be running more similar tests in future so there will be other chances for you to contribute to our understanding of how to make things better.
