Bob, thanks for your efforts
Unfortunately neither 'www.crosswater.co.uk' or 'www.cunard.co.uk' are working yet, both still redirect to their US sites.

Another one (sorry!): www.webuy.com It's the website of cex in the UK.
Directs to the US site, everything's in dollars.

I'm new to this forum and have been having problems with my Plusnet broadband thinking that I'm in the US - specifically Torrance in California. Just tried a geo link and my IP address is 209.93.133.233, which locates to Torrance. Getting fed up with this as it only started about a month ago and I now can't access, or only sporadically, some UK sites (such as the National Lottery). Can someone please look into this and try to fix?
Oddly, my partner's computer shows it as being in the UK.

It is odd, but only started recently.
Your link shows that I'm now in El Segundo (which is by Torrance) in CA, and I have two blacklists (SpamhausZEN and Protected Sky). 😞

Yes the SPAM ones are common for a lot of ISP i believe.
Also when it does say i'm in UK on a checker the ISP's are strange https://www.whatismyip.com/ip-address-lookup (209.93.218.66)

unibet.co.uk still not working I'm afraid.
I've attached two screenshots - the first one is what I get when I try and deposit using my Plusnet connection. The second is what i get if I remain on the same website, but tether through my phone with 3G (I get a verified by visa page, i.e. it's working).
@carvell, would you mind trying again please? Some further changes have been made at Unibet's side

Not heard anything back from either. Feel free to approach them yourself as well. I used an online contact form and dropped the other a tweet:

Thanks, have dropped them a message.

There's a mechanism to correct the reported ISP when presented with your speedtest results. I imagine the site will react to that feedback if submitted enough times. I've tried contacting them directly in the past with limited success.

What's happening when you try and access the National Lottery site? Also, what other sites are you experiencing difficulties with? If we don't know about them, then we can't ask the site owners to rectify things.
The blacklists are not a problem as explained here.

Sometimes when I go to play a game on the National Lottery site it claims that I am not based in the UK so denies me access; other occasions (such as yesterday) it was fine. Seems to be a sporadic problem and I can't seem to figure out why.

I've just had speedtest.net not recognise Plusnet, strange considering I have a static IP!

Should be sorted as well if you want to give it another go?

I'll reach out to them and query the situation. They already have the 209.93 range though, so in theory there shouldn't be any problems.

I get the same from a 143.159 range and that's been in use a while and was definitely 'working' up until fairly recently. I'll see if I can get in touch and ask if anything's changed (although as mentioned previously, I've had limited success in the past).

If I click on some sites from Topcashback (Tesco Bank for example) I get the error message "The advertising link is not available in your current location and we are unable to send you through to the product you have clicked upon."
I raised a support call with Topcashback and apparently my IP address is showing I'm in the US. I was a bit confused by this as I'm in the UK, no VPNs on, etc. and It's not happening on all sites - If I go to Aviva through Topcashback that's fine. Also if I use a site such as http://whatismyipaddress.com it correctly shows me in England. I have the same problem in Windows 10 and on a Mac. I've restored factory setting on my router, checked my IP settings are set to default, etc. I even left my router off for a couple of hours to try to get a new IP address but that didn't appear to change and I got the same one again.
It's only happening on sites that use http://track.omguk.com to track my visits from Topcashback.
Has anyone had this problem or have a workaround I could try? I'm either missing something obvious or the omguk.com has a fault, in which case there's probably not a lot I can do.
Thanks.
