Landline fixed in 3 hours!

Thought I would post this to balance the usual posts about long delays in finding faults.

My landline phone was completely dead (although broadband was still working), so I used the text option on my smartphone to report it at 11.30am. 5 minutes later, I got a reply from the bot saying that initial checks didn't find a fault, but some additional tests would be run. 12 minites later I received a text saying that an issue had been found on the line & would be investigated. A response time of 26/9/23 was given (4 days).

Around 2.30pm I noticed my router was resetting. I tried my landline. It was back on already! So just 3 hours from reporting the fault.  Great stuff 👍

Just to be pedantic, the thread was moved from Home Phone, not Mobile. 😉
