Out of curiosity - are you connecting via a network cable of by wireless? If wireless, does it make any difference if you try using a wire instead?

A gamer will normally prefer a non-interleaved line for the lower latency, but the line may not be stable enough.

Quote from: jelv I've just reviewed your two topics and am now very suspicious that your problems are to do with the fact that you connect to your router wirelessly and that in fact there is nothing wrong with your Plusnet line.
Then why have I not had a problem with my wireless gaming for over 4 years why now???

There could be something that has recently been brought into your area that is causing interference, or something that has developed a fault thats causing exactly the same thing.
If you can't try using a wired connection, you shoulod at least try to use a different wireless channel, such as 5.

I appreciate that having cables trailing around is a pain, but if it's just to test and also something that might fix the problem, then I reckon it would be worth a go.

But as you need a solid connection for your gaming with the highest quality signal, you should generally look to a wired connection as that is nopt hampered by any form of interference.
