Not Happy With Empty Promises

Shall not stay when contract runs out, was promised 30Mb/s and 1571 and caller display
haven`t got 1571 or caller display, and only getting 14Mb/s, not the end of the world I know,
but I do not like promises just to get you to sign up, terrible way of doing business Angry

Re: Not Happy With Empty Promises

If Plusnet has started promising speeds that is a major change of policy. I have never known any ISP promise any speed.

Re: Not Happy With Empty Promises

So, have you been to the add call features page to add 1571 and caller display to your phone package? If not, then you will not have them.

There is no product that has a 30Mb/sec download, except incidentally if a FTTC connection at 80/20 is performing poorly, or 40/10 is performing reasonably well. If you are on a FTTC/P product then getting only 14Mb/s is very poor indeed, however, if you are on ADSL2+ then 14Mb/s is pretty good.

Re: Not Happy With Empty Promises

Plusnet don't make a secret of the fact that they charge for caller display and 1571; in fact the charge for caller display (which can be free with BT) has come in for some criticism.  Sounds like you were oversold on what Plusnet could give you; take it up with them.

Sounds like a call centre staff training problem.
