Any updates on my fibre order? Was supposed to have an engineer by 1 (Now) but no sign.
Confirmed the appointment yesterday after speaking with customer services about another issue (overcharged line rental)
Getting a bit annoyed with all this now so off to phone - hopefully wont have to wait in a queue too long.
Where is the smiley for "tearing hair out"?

Best she could do was transfer me to make another appointment. Waited in the queue for over 30 minutes.
Checked the call centre stats while I was waiting. longest call 6min 44. They cannot be monitoring mine so I've just hung up!
Just about given up so now off to check other providers fibre offers online - I'll be in touch - if I can get through

I got quite excited at 8:10 this morning when an openreach van parked opposite my house but he sat in the van for 5 minutes before driving off.
Hopefully he's just gone to mess around with some wires before he comes back.
I did a speed test in case the plusnet email was correct but no - still just 2.7mbps.
Will keep you updated as promised.

Getting 32mbps at the mo though I understand this should improve over 48hrs to get up to the predicted 62.
Not totally happy with the missed appointments, eventual late one, overcharge on my line rental and lack of communication generally but at least I've finally got what I ordered.
So I'll shut up now.

As a grown man I never thought Id utter the words wish I chosen Virgin Fibre.
Intrigued to hear if other new customers have witnessed the same, it appears from the outside, given call response times, bad attitude Plusnet do not have the people in place to make real their promise of We'll do you Proud
Have others witnessed similar ?

I'm sorry to hear that you feel that way, it sounds to me that a couple of things haven't met expectations. However I can see that my colleague Sam is dealing with your issues and is due to be in touch with you soon. Let us know if there's any problems beyond that.
