Re: Price creep (leap!)

Quote from: Strat
I am a loyal customer of many years and pay the full price for my phone and broadband.
I therefore hate the idea of me and other like me subsidising ultra cheap broadband and large cash-backs to new customers who, at the end of their contract may well change supplier for the latest deal.

yes I agree Strat, I also hate subsidising other customer Broadband and Phone discounts/incentives...
Thats why I'm moving to a provider that has a level playing field for everybody... one price... every customer....
It's time to start paying for what we need and not letting others cover the cost or worse yet suffer issues because of lack of funds.

Does anybody know if you are hit with the £2 surcharge if you move the phone to MAF? (the BB surcharge for not having phone with PN)

I am sure that the MAAF line rental price will not last, in fact I would guess that the whole Madasafish product and brand will be withdrawn shortly.

Just remembered that when I signed re-contracted I agreed a special offer, does this still stand or will I have my price hiked too?

You will probably find that, technically the line rental price was not part of the offer, only the broadband.

Hmmm... I'm MKT 1, 6 mths into an 2yr deal with LRS due end of Feb
So I think come next year I won't take the LRS not really worth for £18pa when the price rises are always Sep- Oct time, then I'll see what 2016 brings.

Just noticed something
My 2 year fibre offer and phone specifically includes anytime calls at £5 per month so I assume that will not change

I have something very similar, I'd be interested in the answer to this one.

Re: Price creep (leap!)

What is the proper process to cancel, can it be done through chat or is it going to take a call?
Edit: Chat have told me it'll take a call..
Edit 2: Is the whole account cancelled penalty free? (Phone & Broadband)

Re: Price creep (leap!)

The price increase affects all residential customers.
People who have received the e-mail can leave penalty free within 30 days of receiving it but you will need to contact us by phone to advise this.
