Re: Price creep (leap!)

I just received by email from PN about increases. I took a deal to reduce my BB to £4.99/m, line rental remaining at £15.95 starting in April 2015.
Umm - just checking, will this increase also hike my current monthly Line Rental (after all I'm in contract).   Huh
It also isn't possible (even if I wanted to) from the PN site to get the current LRS at the current rate (maybe because I'm in contract). And what a huge hike it is as well to the new LRS rate!! Barely any saving considering it is such a large up front outlay to save not that much.
Very disappointed.

I'm surprised about the Council tax - mine's only gone up 0.7% in 5 years.

Here in Wales, the last 3 year's Council tax increases have been 4.7%,4.5% & 4% Cry

I would expect so.

It should be. What error do you get? I get "Line Rental Saver isn't available with your current call plan. To take advantage of Line Rental Saver you can change to one of our current call plans. Please call our Support Team on 0800 013 2632 to arrange this." but I'm already on LRS.

Well I guess that's the cost of an extra layer of government (the assembly), having to print everything twice and "free" prescriptions.

Re: Price creep (leap!)

A little OT, but does anyone know when last mother BT raised her phone and broadband prices, or if any are in pipeline?

Here in Scotland we have had no Council Tax increases in 8 years, and it is really hurting our local services badly.  Sad

Thanks for that. Smiley  The bit I have made red highlights the russian roulette nature of changing  supplier. One might change now and in very few months' time one is paying even more than with PN increases. Must produce a lot of work. Roll_eyes

Yes that's the message I get. Looks like it's because LRS includes no inclusive calls, and my 'Weekends' plan does. This applies to people who took phone package on or after 8 May 2013 (I was July that year).

Re: Price creep (leap!)

From what I can see it is now cheaper to get the full package from BT than it is from Plusnet Sad

I never changed my phone from BT.  Cheesy
Didn't trust Plusnet - especially their accounting system.
