Re: Problem after problem

Chris, is there anyway of finding is Skuffdj exchange will get FTTC as he is on a sub of Chelmsford which is due to complete next month and Writtle is home to a large College.  but the exchange is small.  that would help  greatly.  Most of the Chelmsford subs are already served by Virgin cable

Re: Problem after problem

I'll give it another go this morning, there was still a 'cease' in progress yesterday due to the transfer out to LLU.

Re: Problem after problem

Bingo! It's let me do it today, you should start to see the SNR changing over the next 10 days.

Looks as though it's already started to work, your profile is now up to 5500.

Re: Problem after problem

SNR has been fine since the reset, pings have been excellent, and ive had 4 bars connection on Call of Duty in 99% of games.. The SNR has been staying at 6-6.5, but today its gone up to 7 after a router reset while i slept?.. Hopefully it will go back down because gaming has been perfect.. (although im still only getting 4.15mb download speeds)

Re: Problem after problem

I wouldn't worry about it being at 7, that still means the target is more than likely 6db. It doesn't appear to have affected your sync speed.

Re: Problem after problem

Well its dropped down to 6.5 again now..
But thanks for all your help, like i said gaming is now perfect with my ultra low pings (averaging between 20-26)
So the slightly slower download speed isn't bothering me now
A quick pingtest has given me the same results as 4 days ago, so seems to be nice and stable now

Many thanks

Re: Problem after problem

Im now having a router problem i think.. Every morning when i read the router stats, it shows that its only been connected for a few hours, then tonight while gaming, i saw it reset itself? Is there a simple fix or is it on its way out?

Re: Problem after problem

I think the SNR reset puts you back in the 10 day training period which is liable to cause some disconnects.

Re: Problem after problem

Yes, but wouldn't that just drop connection? as the router is def resetting itself
