Re: Where has the plusnet bandwith test gone

I can't use My Broadband Speed as it sometimes give impossibly high results. E.g. I just got a download speed of 28661 kbps but I sync at 9500 kbps (See attachment, taken today at 19:38).
Speedtest.net used to do the same but has now been updated to give realistic results (it now ignores the sudden blips that  My Broadband Speed records as actual download speeds).
Thinkbroadband always gives very consistent results and is the best in my opinion.
BT speedtester not for those on LLU.

Mikko, thats normally caused by security software, might be worth poking round the forums to see several solutions dependant on what package you have Smiley

Re: Speed faults - information needed to help diagnosis

Is there a problem with the speed tester on the Plusnet website as I have not been able to use it since yesterday morning?

Yes it is, and if I'm honest it's likely to be down for a while because we're going to need to go down to London and bring the boxes back to Sheffield for some TLC.
