waiting for new line to be fitted and still no appointment

i phoned friday to pay to have a new phoneline fitted and still not got an appointment  for it to be done ,yet after several phone calls im none the wiser and i need to make arrangements as i dont have an appointment i cannot do that, what do i do next

why has the moderater took it off as serving no purpose ,as 2 why does it serve no purpose

@paulat, as your service is not currently provided over the BT network we need to carry out a process called Number Porting, this takes longer than a standard transfer, and involves some manual work.
We've sent the port request to our supplier, and should have a response soon, once we have that we can progress and give you an appointment date.

i have still not heard anything yet about  an appointment and need to make arrangemments for other things and cant do so till i get an appointment  for the line to be fitted its now been nearly a week now since i made the payment for a new line to be fitted  i would be grateful if you get  me an answer to this please

Hi there,
The order has now been placed and is currently set to complete on the 23rd March, though this is not yet approved so could change.
It should be approved by Monday, and then we'll be able to confirm the appointment date and time.

hi is that the date for the telephone engineer to come and fit my phone line i need to know as ive abooked a sky engineer to fit  a sky tv and i need to know  as i need the phone line fitted first before they can do so  i would be grateful if you can confirm this

That's the date we've requested (as it was the earliest available), but as I said, we'll be able to confirm for you on Monday.

i am due to find out a date for a telephone engineer to do my telephone line today would you be able to let me know soon as possible as i have to inform other people of this as im  having other things installed and things cant get  moving till i know for definate the date thankyou i would be grateful

It's been approved for the 23rd, in the AM time slot (between 8am and 1pm).
