Quote from: w23 Shape and accessories seem to match but then, would it be a 5A or 5B (or random mix of both)?
A (subject to change of course).

Quote from: Chris Sorry that you're not happy but that's the decision that's been made. I'm hopeful that it won't be too long before existing customers get this too.
Seems like existing customers are seen as second class on this ( getting rid of old stock), already paying PN money, and then most likely need to take time off work if they want to upgrade to fibre, but no such issue for new customers.

Mike

Quote ( getting rid of old stock),
That's not the reason at all, the Hub Zero will continue to be supplied on ADSL connections.

Quote from: pwatson BT won't be supplying the VDSL modem from January next year, so existing customers upgrading to fibre will need the new router at this point anyway.

Quote from: Chris but surely launching it at all is a good thing?
for existing customers it's not launching though.
so what you provide to a different set of customers is irrelevant to me.
all i can see is that, as an existing customer, i get a different service.
a service, that most likely could resist in an engineer not turning up at all resulting in a wasted day.
