Tuesday 31st March

At the end of today, that will be the first quarter of 2009 over... this is conerning to me, as the start of the year doesn't seem to have been that long ago! Thankfully, with the clock change it's now daylight when leaving the office which means my nightly game of 'Frogger' to get across the road outside the office can be completed in daylight. Let's see what we've been up to around the business today... Andy from the Web Team gives us:

In terms of volume, it's been a quiet day over on the Web Team. Duffy and Nick are off and everyone else seems to wading in project work. So it's either headphones on and heads down, or off to meetings.  In amongst projecty stuff, I've been problem testing and getting Colin to investigate things for me. I've had a mixed response from the rest of the team so I'll stick to the tried and tested jabber format.  In no particular order...  (16:49:43) Colin Ogilvie: Problem fixes, housekeeping, rally, investigatng next work  (16:49:10) Mark Lucas: righty ho  (16:49:52) Sam Weaving: Visuals for forthcoming project  (16:49:27) James Tuck: project work & problems  (16:49:16) Kelly Dorset: spreadsheets of DEATH!  (16:49:18) Kelly Dorset: and no cake  (16:50:16) Dan Dunford: spec'ing tools to help our Customer Options Team  (16:49:54) Gary Rockett: TR69 pages, code reviews  Colin's asked for submissions by 17.15, so I'll let Mark have a bit longer before I post this.  (17:13:06) Mark Lucas: Right, this week I've embarked on an exciting new project, updating all the system emails, making sure they’re accurate. At the same time, I'm making sure they read like a plain speaking expert, and not professor Erudite Baffling from the University of Boffin.  Just in time! - excellent.  Till the next time..

Hmm, looks like it's just the web team that can do time keeping this week, although I think Andy was a bit late with that post... Colin
