Howdy Communitadors. Always best to start off a EOD with a completely made up word. It's a fairly quick one from me today because Andy asked me to edit at 5:15pm! (Bad Andy) Ahaaa, it's CPaaarr from Comms. It's almost poetic: A more sensible and straight forward end of day from me today. James has been dealing with some complaints and has spent most of his day in the forums. I've continued blogging and writing some internal comms. Along with going to a few meetings. Bob looked overjoyed as he helped to manage the CSC floor for a short while in between his normal workload of network stylee comms. Mand's been in a couple of meetings and handing over her work as she's now off for a while. Matt left early today as he wasn't feeling too great, get well soon. Andy has been doing all things support pagey. Mike has probably been training. This made me scratch my head and wonder what was going on. Thanks for that CParr. Here's Mark from our Customer Services team: Well hello to all from Mark in the CSC. After a rather steady day here in Sheffield, with the weather outside trying to make it's mind up whether to be sunny or dull, and the window cleaners walking up and down outside with their VERY long brush on a pole, here's what's been happening today. With no major issues that seem to have come to notice, today's been a rather uneventful day. Plenty of support questions responded to, mainly dealing with the usual billing & and general account admin issues, and (in the morning mainly), a small increase to the general call volumes. Again mainly billing issues, and some customers chasing up provisioning orders. We had expected a large volume of customers calling today with regard to the BBC's report on the nation's broadband providers, and the sort of broadband speeds that most providers seem to be (or not to be, as is the case) providing. But so far as I'm aware we've not had many calls regarding this. So we can only presume that you are all a pretty happy bunch. Myself today, I started out dealing with a small issue that had cropped up on some accounts that had been reported as ceased when in fact they weren't, a few hours dealing with the usual 'run of the mill' support & billing questions, and finally getting today's mail scanned onto our system. So a pretty usual day for me. So as 5.30 beckons, and the 40 minute bus ride home, that's all from me. Mark signing off. James signing off too! Have a pleasant evening everyone.
