@Prmiaj if the TV is set to get an IP automatically and it doesnt, then you almost certainly have a fault
have you tried
1) unplugging and reconnecting the cable to the TV ( make sure its fully inserted )
2) a different cable
3) a different port on the router ( if its a Plusnet Hub 2 then NOT the red port 4 )
If none of those work, then if you have a Plusnet router and have not changed it from the defaults then
Where do I find all the details it needs
IP address try 192.168.1.1 ( assuming you have no other devices set with static IPs )
Netmask 255.255.255.0
Gateway ID 192.168.1.254
DNS server 1 and 2 192.168.1.254
If those work, then I would suggest there is a fault with the TV as it should get all that information automatically
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.
