Re: Plusnet Hub 2 Incoming Ping

@dejjones don't take this the wrong way, but I haven't got the capacity to try replicating the problem at the moment beyond what I've already tried. I don't expect you to inconvenience yourself either, but if you do stumble across a situation where you can repeatedly prove something is wrong, then I'll do my best to identify and fix the source of the issue.

Re: Plusnet Hub 2 Incoming Ping

@bobpullen  is @dejjones Hub2  on the latest firmware ?

IIRC the firmware was updated a couple of times during the trial and did I see another thread where a newly applied Hub2 wasn't on the latest ?

Re: Plusnet Hub 2 Incoming Ping

@dejjones thanks for that info. My Hub 2 isnt connected at the moment but I recall there was a firmware update on the trial in Nov 21. If non of the other trialists respond in the next hour or so then I'll go connect mine up and check the firmware revision

Re: Plusnet Hub 2 Incoming Ping

It's running the latest firmware. Regardless, incoming ping has been working since inception.

Re: Plusnet Hub 2 Incoming Ping

@bobpullen

Thanks for the info.

I currently have BQM running and I have incoming ping enabled, No DMZ and no Now TV box.

As a test, I'm going to disable incoming ping, wait for BQM red line, and then re-enable incoming ping.

If it works correctly BQM will resume, red line will disappear.

I'm pretty sure my previous experience is that BQM doesn't resume.

I'll let you know the result.

Re: Plusnet Hub 2 Incoming Ping

@MisterW

@bobpullen

The test worked as it should so the problem seems to have evaporated, unless it is intermittent of course.

Thank you both for your input.
