Switch from BT to Plusnet

Hi,

I am switching from BT Full Fibre to Plusnet Full Fibre.

Can I keep my BT router, or am I forced to change to the Plusnet router?

Thanks

Re: Switch from BT to Plusnet

You can use your own router with Plusnet providing it can be configured for vPPPoE with your Plusnet credentials. You BT router should work, however you may find that BT want it returned.

The Plusnet Hub 2 is based on the BT smart hub 2

Re: Switch from BT to Plusnet

If it’s a recent router BT will charge you £60 if you don’t send it back using the prepaid bag.
