Re: Upgrading to Unlimited - ticket history

I upgraded from Premium to Unlimited (Contract) yesterday evening. I’m already on ADSL2+ with an uncapped upload speed but this is my ticket history (my bold for emphasis):

Re: Upgrading to Unlimited - ticket history

Reading that suggests your upload might be capped. Sad

Re: Upgrading to Unlimited - ticket history

Hi there,
It's just ticket autotext, not sure why it's popped up though as your upload is indeed already uncapped? That hasn't changed anything though, don't worry - the uncap is still in place Smiley

Re: Upgrading to Unlimited - ticket history

To finish off my report - upstream capped again at about 1.00 am and a resync this morning got the downstream speed back to where it should be   Cool

Sorry to be pedantic but I'm more concerned if it will still be in place after the product change?

Re: Upgrading to Unlimited - ticket history

Account changes and service provision are not link and frequently don't happen on the same date, so if any thing is going to happen it will do so before 18th January. This specifically is the ticket that concerns me:

Re: Upgrading to Unlimited - ticket history

Hi there,
The order currently placed has the upstream set to uncapped so won't change that once it completes at all.

Re: Upgrading to Unlimited - ticket history

Thanks Matt. I have to say though that these messages plus my speed was estimated way too low during the sign-up journey make for a confusing customer experience.

Re: Upgrading to Unlimited - ticket history

The duff speed estimates were a known issue (I think it's picking up the 20CN estimate).

Re: Upgrading to Unlimited - ticket history

Yes I saw that on the forums. Still confusing though, especially for customers who don't know to come here for help.
Bob.
Edit, shouldn't complain too much though, it's a great product.
