Hub Two - stuck on green light

Hi,

This morning my Hub Two router changed from blue to green, cutting off all connectivity.

I've tried turning off and on again, but the green light remains.

I followed the FAQ for solutions, and then tried to factory reset with a paper clip, but the light just remains green. I held in for 20 seconds +.

How do I fix this?

Thank you.

Re: Hub Two - stuck on green light

What are your ONT lights showing? If they are all green, I suspect a fault with the Hub.

And now LOS is off.

All 3 others on.

OK. I would suggest my initial thought is correct. Best bet is to call Plusnet.

LOS being on - green? - would suggest a fault in the OR network. Having said that, my understanding is that should be 'off' if the network is OK.

Just for info, LOS will never be green. Its either OFF (normal) or RED (fault).

@Suarez as @jab1 says , you've got a faulty router. Green is only shown during startup, so that implies its not starting up properly, hence its likely faulty. Call Customer services, they should arrange a replacement

Hopefully LOS = permanently 'OFF' 😀

Re: Hub Two - stuck on green light

My ONT doesn't have a LOS light.

It has an 'Optical' which seems to be dual-purpose, so under normal circumstances it is green but goes red if the service is down.

Admittedly it is a fairly old 4-port version which has been in place since 2015.

Re: Hub Two - stuck on green light

That's a 'blast from the past'!

It would appear that your Optical light is a combination of the PON and LOS lights on the later ONTs

Normally PON is GREEN , going OFF when a fault detected
